Change

Change is necessary. We cannot live in this world and expect that we will never have to change. Everything must change. Time changes daily, minute by minute, seasons change on us from winter, spring, summer and fall, people change from being nice to mean, young to old, difficult to cooperative, weak to strong, sickly to healed, and finally from life to death. As a man, we must be willing to change but understand that change is a process. We are not born mature we must develop and grow into a mature man. We start out as a boy and then we become a teenager, a young man, and then finally a “Man”. The problem with a lot of men today is that we abort or willingly deny the process of maturity to exist. Many of us want to remain in a state of arrested development. Meaning that we may be 35 years old in age but based upon our Emotional IQ we are only 15 years old. We have not grown spiritually, or emotionally at the same pace that our physical bodies grew. We feel that we can play games all our lives and avoid taking on the responsibility needed to teach us discipline. In your walk with Christ refuse to be the same man in 2022 that you were in 2021.
