One of the hardest things that we must go through in life is learning how to make the right decisions. Every human being living will come to a crossroads in life where they don’t know which way to go. We won’t know how to move forward, nor at what pace we need to run ahead, it’s hard to move forward when you don’t know what to do. The dilemma that we face is realizing even though God is in control of everything, he is the giver of life, the sustainer of life because of God we live and breathe and have our being, he is all-powerful, all-knowing and he never makes a mistake. But the one thing that God will never do is diminish or take away our ability to choose or decide. I may not feel empowered to decide, I may not want to deal with the particular outcome or consequences of my choice, but God will never take away my ability to choose. So, to remain to stagnate is not an option, to not make a choice is to allow circumstances to decide for you, which is a choice within itself. The Bible in James 1:5 says, “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him”. My challenge to us is that as we move forward that we are intentional about letting God lead us into making the right decision.
