Fear

If we were to peel back the cover to reveal the type of things that keep us from making the right choices, I believe at the top of the list would be fear. Fear tends to paralyze us from moving forward and seeing the possibilities that may exist for us. Many men today are afraid we fear LOSING or Letting Go of the present, and the things most familiar to us, for a chance to discover the unknown. Fear can be influenced by real threats and in some cases the memories of those threats. Men like everyone else can find it overwhelming to face fear and what we can learn from it. When were able to overcome fear, is in the moment it arises. It’s good to ask ourselves the question is this false evidence appearing real (FEAR) causing me to submit to it, rather than challenge it? To be victorious over our fears we must be willing to face and embrace the challenge, barrier, or obstacle in front of us and look for the possibilities instead. One way in which we can do this is to develop a Kingdom of God mentality. When we look at things from a Kingdom perspective and through the lenses of the Holy Spirit, we realize that in the Kingdom of God which is a glimpse of Heaven. There are “No Problems only Possibilities”.
